Computer Science Engineering

With the advancement of computer technology, the industries have gone for extensive use of computer in design, manufacturing, process control, office automation, data processing, documentation, management and many other areas. As a result, computer science has emerged as a distinctly separate discipline of high tech education. The employment opportunity is excellent for engineers with Computer Science & Engineering Degree.

Laboratories Facility:
Equipped with the highest name HP COMPAQ computers for students practical as well as project work it has high power Core2 Duo with 1GB RAM system with 555 terminals. 24 hour high speed Internet connectivity (512 Kbps) is provided to the students.

Server Room:
Computers of all laboratories are interconnected and served by high-end servers with a backbone of HP gigabyte contained racks of switches. The server room also has 10KVA On line UPS.

Programme Educational Objectives

  • To provide the students with a strong foundation in the basic sciences, mathematics, scientific and engineering fundamentals necessary to formulate, solve and analyze computing problems in computer science & engineering. [FUNDAMENTALS]
  • To enable the students to work as part of teams on multidisciplinary projects. They shall have relevant design & programming skills so that they shall understand the relationship between theory & practical programming knowledge. [ENGINEERING SYSTEM DESIGN]
  • To cultivate the concept of the lifelong learning process as well as mould the students as Professionals with moral Ethics and responsible citizenship to promote Industrial growth. [LIFELONG LEARNING/ETHICS]
  • Develop the ability among students to apply current industry practices and technologies to analyze, design, implement, test and verify computing systems and computer based solutions to real world problems. [CORE COMPETANCE/ COMMUNICATION]
  • Graduate shall possess with world class academic environment aware of excellence, leadership, written ethical codes & guidelines needed for a professional career. [EFFICIENT ENGINEER]
  • The graduates must have the background and perspective necessary to pursue postgraduate education.
